Boogie Woogie Puppet Theatre - A Journey Story

Boogie Woogie Puppet Theatre - A Journey Story
The curtain rises with puppets on the first day of the November mid-term break! Trombon and the Assistant's musical journey in pursuit of a runaway note is at Tersane Istanbul Glass Hall on Saturday, 14 November. An interactive puppet play that tells, through love, solidarity and courage, not to be afraid of making mistakes.
About the Play
Trombon, Trombolina and the Assistant are a travelling theatre troupe that performs together. The star of the show, Trombolina, does not like mistakes being made on stage at all; because of this, Trombon and the Assistant are also feeling a little down.
One of Trombon's notes can no longer bear this situation and one night, while Trombon is asleep, decides to run away. Trombon and the Assistant set off for their old friend Troti, an instrument repairer, to find the missing note. Thus begins an adventure in which they will stop at different places and make new friends.
Bringing together puppet theatre, non-verbal comedy, dance and music, A Journey Story invites children to take part in the play through rhythm exercises, music, movement and fun interactions. The play explains in the language of children that making mistakes is a natural part of learning.
Themes of the Play
Fear of making mistakes: The idea that making mistakes is a natural part of learning and experience.
Love and compassion: The importance of approaching ourselves and those around us with love.
Friendship and solidarity: The value of supporting one another and acting together.
Helping one another: The importance of seeking solutions together and asking for help when needed.
