About
Throughout September, Tersane Istanbul invites young artists on an inspiring journey of discovery that pushes the boundaries of imagination. Blending art, design, and hands-on crafts, our kids' workshops offer an enriching experience where children can freely explore and express their creativity. Led by instructors Tuğba Özer and Azime Sarıtoprak, this workshop series features rich, engaging content designed for various age groups. Young participants will sharpen their visual perception through activities such as agamographs, origami, 3D painting, and coloring book design, while strengthening their spatial thinking and sculpting/crafting skills through clay modeling, jumping clay, felt crafting, and chenille (pipe cleaner) bracelet design. In addition, our "Magic Patterns" and "Perspective" workshops turn spatial awareness and drawing fundamentals into a fun, interactive learning journey. Offering hands-on creative practices across different disciplines every weekend, Tersane Istanbul Kids' Workshops empower children with new forms of self-expression while offering families a delightful weekend destination along the waterfront.
